Based in Durham, NC, I am a portrait, wedding, and event photographer whose work blends timeless elegance with a modern edge — creating striking visuals that captivate and tell compelling stories. I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and professionals who value polished, sophisticated imagery, that’s bold yet minimal. From professional portraits to the “just because” portrait sessions and your most meaningful celebrations, I’m here for it all!

My work has been featured in VIBE, Durham Magazine, INDY Week, and Black Bride, with imagery displayed on New York’s Times Square and presented in local exhibits across the Triangle.

Capturing Life’s Most Beautiful Moments, One Frame at a Time

At the heart of my approach is a commitment to excellence, intentionality, and a distinct artistic perspective. While I am a digital photographer, my work often carries a subtle grain — a nod to classic, vintage film — because I believe images should feel timeless, textured, and real.

I’m not here to create a mirror image or chase perfection. I’m here to create images that feel like you: honest, refined, and deeply individual. Every photograph is thoughtfully crafted to reflect the unique presence, identity, and quality of each person, couple, or brand in front of my lens, while still carrying a signature style that is unmistakably my own.

Inspired by portrait photographer Platon, I embrace a philosophy of simplicity and truth:
“If it’s necessary, it’s in there. If it’s not necessary, it’s not there.”

This belief guides me to strip away distractions and focus on what matters most — creating powerful, minimalistic images that honor both the individuality of my subjects and the integrity of my artistic vision.
